November brings with it the Fall harvest of many crops, from apples to many vegetables, and the ability to buy locally, soon col weather crops, like spinach, some lettuces, peas, kale, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, leeks and early onions,  plus fresh winter squash, pumpkins and moren.

Two miles away is a variety of Mennonite farm stands to round out your visit to the country. Directions gladly given at the farm stand or the front door of the house. Just knock loudly, and pet the two little dogs who greet you for a cuddle. Please phone ahead for bushel orders of gala and macintosh apples - $12/bushel.
