March brings with it cold weather winter crops, like kale, spinach, some lettuces, peas, kale, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, leeks and early onions, and from southern areas, like Florida and southern Texas, strawberries, oranges, sumatras, grapefruit.

  • Concho Farmers Market - Wide variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables
    HWYs 61 & 180A, Concho, AZ 85924. Email: [email protected]. Open: from around the 1st or 2nd weekend in May and runs thru the last weekend in October. May -Sept hours are 8am till Noon, in Oct hours are 9am-Noon.. Directions: See their website for directions. Payment: Cash, WIC Vouchers . There are a few of the farms that are Certified Naturally Grown but a few others aren't Certified but do practice organic methods.
