The Herb Stop in Pine Arizona is hosting the Pine Farmer's Market again this year, where Freshly Picked Local (Strawberry, AZ) Organically Grown Vegetables are sold. It\'s been such a success over the past couple years that the Organic Garden has grown 6 fold since it first began. Just a few examples to of its size this year is: 350 tomato plants, 200 cucumber plants, 1300 potato plants, etc. And it\'s been a charity Garden from the very beginning, donating on average $2,300 to the Local Charities; The Pine/Strawberry Food Bank, The Humane Society of Central Arizona and the Isabel Hunt Memorial Library in Pine. We\'re donating 50% of all the proceeds to these charities again this year. Unfortunately the other 50% is to help with the water bill. The Market's hours are 9 a.m. till 11, every Saturday June through October (or when it freezes). Anyone wishing to tour the Garden, please contact Bill at the email or phone number above. And our website is PineFarmersMarket.com. It would be highly appreciated if you could help get the word out there, for the health of the individual and community. Our Mission Statement: Our Mission, first and foremost, is to supply weekly produce to those who know, appreciate and enjoy fresh tasty nutritious Organically Grown Vegetables (at a reasonable price). Our second objective is to give 50% of the sales to local charities. Lastly it\'s to promote good Health in conjunction with our host, The Herb Stop, in Pine, Arizona. This is a non-profit (operating at a loss) where the money that is collected is only to support this cause. Essentially this Farmer's Market is a public service, not a business.
