What's in season in September 2023, and other timely information:
September brings with it cold weather winter crops, like kale, spinach,
some lettuces, peas, kale, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower,
leeks and early onions,
and from southern areas, like Florida and southern Texas,
strawberries, oranges, sumatras, grapefruit.

Pavilion filled with 20,000 everbearing strawberry plants.
Sweet, juicy and no pesticide sprays! This is a unique
state-of-the art hydroponic greenhouse, a must to see. For
larger picking call us for details on the crops. Also the best
flavoured Blueberries -4 acres of u-pick fields- end of July to
mid September. The sweetest and most delicious blueberries this
side of heaven! A great family experience and fun for everyone!
Fill up your pails then come in and enjoy a refreshing cold
Blueberry Smoothie or a piece of our homemade Blueberry Pie.
These blueberries are pesticide-free, easy to freeze with
tremendous nutritional value and flavor! Raspberries: Harvest
Date: Mid July to August. And fabulous large sweet cherries are
ready picked harvested end of July to mid August. We have a very
exciting Country Market serving lite lunches, special dessert &
refreshments, also loaded with gourmet food & unique gift items.
