October brings with it cold weather winter crops, like kale, spinach,
some lettuces, peas, kale, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower,
leeks and early onions,
and from southern areas, like Florida and southern Texas,
strawberries, oranges, sumatras, grapefruit.

eggs available year round, though beef must be ordered in
advance; Small square bales of alfal Saturday, grass, or mix are
also available virtually year-round as supplies last. We use
natural practices, but are not seeking organic certification.
