What's in season in December 2024, and other timely information:
December brings with it cold weather winter crops, like kale, spinach,
some lettuces, peas, kale, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower,
leeks and early onions,
and from southern areas, like Florida and southern Texas,
strawberries, oranges, sumatras, grapefruit.

In June,
there is a Strawberry Festival at the Brookings Farmers Market!
We will have a variety of strawbery-themed activities available
for kids and adults. Vendors will have a selection of strawberry
goodies available for sale.
