Updates for December 2023
December brings with it cold weather winter crops, like kale, spinach,
some lettuces, peas, kale, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower,
leeks and early onions,
and from southern areas, like Florida and southern Texas,
strawberries, oranges, sumatras, grapefruit.

chutneys and jams of all descriptions and a selection of wines

delicious seasonal, home grown fruit and vegetables in our
shops, including our sacks of potatoes - 25kg and 10kg and sacks
of locally produced onions - 10kg and 5kg. beef comes from
Frettenham. The animals enjoy a wonderful life roaming the
meadows, and are fed only on food produced on the farm. Our pork
is free range, lamb is from the East Anglian Farmer’s
Co-operative, free range chickens come from a farm in
Hindolveston. The animals all enjoy a good and happy life.

Farm is a 140 acre mixed farm, growing vegetables and producing
pork beef and lamb all for the farm shop. The farm shop stocks a
wide range of fresh farm food and everything produced on our
farm is sold through the shop; the vegetables we grow and the
livestock we rear. Food miles are nonexistent on many of our
lines! Fresh Vegetables picked every day. Home grown Pork, Beef
& Lamb. Our own free range eggs. Fresh baked bread every day.
Specialist regional foods. Local beer, wine and cider. The
Butchery is firmly based on supplying you with good meat sourced
both locally and from our own farm and other locally sourced
products including chicken and game.
